World created around the theme of ‘Home’ using Blender and Unity

Project reflection: When approaching this project I found it difficult to come up with a concept since the idea of ‘home’ was my family instead of a place since I grew up in a military family. An object in a sense that is home for me is food, especially my mom’s food, however, since I don’t live with or anywhere near my family anymore I made the table empty. The table has always been in every house we lived in and had dinner at every night. For the environment of the project, I was mainly going off of vibes. I didn’t grow up around mountains or water but was going for more of a Minecraft vibe hence the Minecraft Sweden song and portal. Why I decided to make the chairs float, I’m not sure, it was just the right vibes. For the inverse sphere, I wanted to make my 3D model its own confined world, representing the small world reality you get being in the military. Also I had to restart the project four times because of crashing, forgetting to frequently saving then crashing and having a bug so bad I can’t even open the project.

Unfortunately, my project kept crashing and the video above is the longest I have ever been able to roam about the space. There is supposed to be rain and the Sweden song playing but that makes the file crash faster.
